Middlesex League Meet set stage for stellar performances

Ian Ritchie had a school record breaking performance in the 800 meters this Tuesday. Ritchie ran a 1:56.16 to place 2nd.  The time bests Jim Johnson's 1:56.2 from 1995.

Ben Joly won the Shot Put title in 49'11.5".  He beat out a gang of Burlington shot putters with one of his best throws this season.

Jackson Gallagher had a very promising race in the 800 meters placing 4th with a time of 1:57.77.  Gallagher and Ritchie are the first two athletes to break 2:00 in close to 20 years.

Shannon Quirk kicks hard to the finish to win the 2 mile in 11:27.  Her sister Becca also was league champ in the 2 mile in 2012.

The 4x400 meter team of Cam Yasi, Joe Hurton, Ritchie, and Gallagher won the meet with a time of 3:27.
